There are two options to become a part of the federation:

• Join an existing Food Not Bombs group.

The easiest way to become a part of the federation is to go to a distro and start meeting the people there. Don't worry about finding the "right" people to talk to. If you just stop by, introduce yourself and show interest, those most involved will find you.

Everyone is encouraged to participate in the ways that suit them, even if they're not from the area. That being said, if you're not from the area you're operating in, we ask that you bring what you learn back home with you. Everyone everywhere deserves free food. So, after gaining a bit of experience, you can continue being part of the federation by:

• Starting a Food Not Bombs distro where you live.

There are infinite ways to distribute food freely in your area. Start small and try to grow slowly. Relationships are what is most important. More resources coming soon!
